EasyReader Education: Accessible Reading in Schools and Colleges
EasyReader Education extends these accessibility benefits across entire schools, colleges, and universities. It enables educators to provide inclusive reading solutions for all students with print disabilities. Schools can:
-
Provide independent reading tools for students in classrooms and at home
-
Support students with dyslexia, neurodiversity, vision impairment and other print disabilities
-
Give students access to over a million curriculum titles, including revision guides from RNIB Bookshare
-
Reduce staff time spent adapting resources manually, allowing more focus on teaching and support
EasyReader Education helps schools create inclusive literacy programmes, where students can read independently, enjoy books and gain the same educational and personal benefits as their peers.
Making the National Year of Reading Inclusive for All Students
The National Year of Reading celebrates the joy and value of reading. For it to succeed fully, we must make sure reading is truly accessible to all students, including those with print disabilities. Accessible reading tools like Dolphin EasyReader Education help schools and students overcome barriers, to enjoy independent reading.
As part of our pledge to support the National Year of Reading - and to continue our commitment to making reading accessible for every learner - Dolphin has launched a global challenge:
Help 1 million students read
You’re invited to be part of this movement: We are building a team of Reading Ambassadors to help schools discover EasyReader and unlock accessible reading for every learner.
Dolphin is committed to giving every child with a print impairment the ability to read in an accessible format. Help us share that every student deserves a chance to read in a way that works for them. Join us by becoming a Reading Ambassador – Follow Dolphin on one or more of our social channels and comment ‘reading for everyone’.
