Elin Williams is the writer behind the award-winning blog, My Blurred World. She splits her time between working as a Social Media and Communications Officer, studying with The Open University, blogging, writing and mentoring young vision impaired people. She has been sharing her experiences of living with Retinitis Pigmentosa since 2015 in the hope of raising awareness, helping others in a similar situation and ultimately creating the very platform she could have benefited from reading when she was younger. Elin’s advocacy has extended beyond the pages of her blog over the past few years, seeing her delivering public speeches in schools and government, taking part in panels and writing for the likes of BBC and The Guardian. In Elin’s spare time, you’ll find her reading, going to concerts and embracing all the parts of fashion you can’t see.
